The countdown is on for PSR! June 6th - 17th. 8 am - 11:45 am. We are looking forward to seeing and serving your children. Our theme this year is "Love One Another". - John 13:34
FIRST DAY - Please walk your child into the gym and pick up your carpool tag. You must have your carpool tag at dismissal. If you need more than one carpool tag, let me know. Morning drop off will be in the gym of the Youth Formation Center/Preschool Building. Please arrive no later than 8:00 am. Early arrival will begin at 7:30 am.
The Release form is linked here and below. Please sign and return those by Tuesday, May 31st. Email them to [email protected] or drop them off at the Church Office.
Dismissal and Carpool - Dismissal will occur in the same place as drop off through carpool. There will be one carpool line. Have your carpool sign in view in your windshield. If the driver does not have a carpool tag, the driver must come in at the end of carpool and show their driver's license. The driver must be listed as a pick up person.
Bible - If you child was issued a Catholic Youth Bible with their PSR materials (several years ago), bring it to summer PSR. We have plenty if your child does not have it or did not receive one.
Pick up - Carpool from the Youth building begins at 11:45. Your carpool tag is required for pick up. If you are picking up another child, you must also have their carpool tag and be on the list to pick them up.
Please bring 1 package/box of Capri Sun or Roaring Water per child. You can drop these off on the first day or at the church office between now and then.
Bring a refillable water bottle each day of PSR. (Label it with your child's name).
Mass days - Thursdays at 8:00am - you are welcome to join us! We will walk over to the Church at 7:50. If you arrive after 7:50, walk your child to the Church and find their class.
Reconciliation - Fr. Michael will hear confessions at some point during PSR. Please encourage your child to take advantage of this time to receive the Sacrament.
Books will go home on the last day. If your child misses any days, the make-up work will be sent home.
Break- Each class will have a break outdoors or in the gym.
Circles of Grace (safe environment class) will be held during PSR. Dates and opt-out forms will be available the first day of PSR.
Adoration- all classes will have the opportunity to go to Adoration. Of course, we don't expect the kids to sit in Adoration for an hour. We will start with 5-10 minutes for the little ones and have increased times for the older kids. St. Patrick has Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am until 3 pm. You are always welcome to take advantage of this time!
Snacks - We will serve snacks each day. If your child is allergic, please send an alternate snack and notify me.
