Parish School of Religion Details
- Our Parish School of Religion, also know as PSR, provides religious education classes to children and youth in first through tenth grade who do not attend a Catholic School. Since the Diocese of Baton Rouge requires two years of religious education before preparing for First Eucharist and ten years of religious education before preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, our program allows your child to be eligible to celebrate those Sacraments.
- Here at St. Patrick, we have a two week summer intensive PSR program. The dates for this summer are June 3 - June 14 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. The cost is $35 per student and includes the pizza and ice cream party on the last day. High school students will come June 3 - 7 and on June 10 and are welcome to volunteer the rest of the week (almost all of our high school students stayed to help last year!).

- Throughout the year we have Youth Ministry opportunities available as well as Sacramental Preparation.
- Registration opens March 4, 2024.
- Volunteers are needed in various areas: catechists and co-catechists, high schoolers can volunteer for service hours, small group leaders.
